I've read and re-read The Daily Five and I'm ready to "read to learn" and not just "learn to read". My favorite graphics site Lettering Delights is having a great sale, tons of packages for only 50 cents. I spent just a few dollars and am squealing in delight over the cuteness. So, of course I had to make something, and of course, I want to share.
This "I Pick" poster is just one way to help children pick out books that are appropriate for them. Click here to download the Word version.
Edited to Add: Appears the Word version is wonky for some people, so I also have a PDF. Hope that helps!
Hey Tracey,
ReplyDeleteI love the ipick poster but when I open it it is on two pages and messed up. Do you have it in a pdf or what font did you use?
Thanks,
Caroline
Caroline,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for letting me know. I just uploaded and linked a PDF for ya. I don't know why it showed up wonky for you and not for me, but I'm sure if it's wonky for you, it's wonky for someone else too! Thanks again!

I just love it! I just purchased lettering delights alphabets but now don't know how to use them. Do you have to create it in their program, Creative Delights and insert like clip art? It seems so hard?
ReplyDeleteThanks again,
Caroline
I insert them like pictures. I create in Word! Let me know if you need help!
ReplyDeleteWhich font did you use? I've seen it elsewhere and really like it. But there's 53 pages of fonts in the sale and so I wanted to see if I could narrow the search. Thanks so much for posting this poster!
ReplyDeleteLove your poster and I would love a copy for my classroom! Unfortunately, I do on have word installed on my Mac and Google Docs is giving an error message. an you PLEASE email me a copy? wkinardatt.net

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for making this poster! I've got a copy in my classroom now, and little ones on all the kids' bookmarks. Which font did you use for the text? I might have to go purchase it.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE your daily 5 posters. I printed and laminated the 5 components and use it as my check in for daily 5, the students clip their pin to the bottom of the poster and I can tell in a glance who's doing what!
ReplyDeleteThank you SO MUCH for sharing your awesomeness! I'm new to Daily 5 and decided to jump right in, so all the "finished" classroom signs I can get are a HUGE help! Muchas Muchas Gracias!!!
